Verdant Maw began as a single question: what if the trap was the landscape?
The specimen mimics a tranquil clearing — soft moss, inviting blooms — that is in
fact the rim of a contractile maw.
Design work centred on the transition frame: the half-second where the clearing
becomes a mouth. The bloom geometry doubles as both lure and the muscle that
closes it.
