Nocturne was developed as a lighting-driven design study: a predator whose
entire silhouette reads only by the glow it chooses to show. The lure-tissue
runs on a custom subsurface shader so the light appears to sit under the skin
rather than on it.
The collapsible ribcage let the form shift between a low ambush profile and a
full vertical strike. Sculpted in ZBrush, look-developed across a single
HDRI-neutral set so the bioluminescence carries the read.
