Ashwalker

Ashwalker explores a body in two states at once: an outer shell of fractured, cooling basalt over an interior that never stops burning. The crack network is art-directed so the emissive reads as pressure finding its way out.

The look-dev focused on the hand-off between hard, matte rock and the hot gradient beneath — animated heat-haze and ember drift were prototyped to confirm the design would survive in motion.
